Sales of the Lada Vesta sedan officially started in Germany on February 21. According to the AvtoVAZ press service, the first lot consisting of 200 vehicles has been already delivered to this country.
The Lada Vesta for the European market is equipped with a 1.6-liter 106 hp petrol Euro-6 engine paired with a manual or an automated manual transmission. It has a lamp illuminating back seats and pressure control devices in the tires — the Russian-spec Lada Vesta lacks these options. The prices for the car had been announced before. The standard Lada Vesta with front and side airbags, ESP, climate, audio, light sensors and rain-sensing wipers, cruise control and alloy wheels will cost 12490 Euros.
Soon the Lada Vesta will be also sold in Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria: the first lots of the cars have been already sent to the dealers in these countries.
