Production of VAZ-2115 Lada Samara-2 Stopped

Production of VAZ-2115 sedans (Lada Samara-2) was stopped in December 2012 and this year the official dealers will sell off the rest of previously produced cars. Lada Samara hatchbacks, also called VAZ-2113 and VAZ-2114, will be still assembled until the end of 2013. During 2012 there were only 8.500 VAZ-2115 cars sold, while the above-mentioned hatchbacks still remain quite popular with 54.000 cars sold through the year. Since 1997, when the assembly of VAZ-2115 started, the total number of vehicles produced reached 750.000 units.
