Another Chinese vehicle, the compact five-door Chery Very car, has entered the Russian car market. Actually, this model is not new and previously it was sold in Russia as Chery Bonus hatchback. It's stands to mention that apart from the raised boot section there is almost nothing different between these two cars. The power pack, the 1.5-liter 109 hp gas engine and five-speed manual gearbox, of the two cars is the same, but Chery Very costs 10.000 rubles (~$300) more.
The standard modification fitted with one airbag, power steering, front power windows, central locking and air conditioning systems is priced at 356.000 rubles or ~$11.000.
Both Chery Very and Chery Bonus are assembled at the Zaporoshsk based car plant in Ukraine, meanwhile the name of this car intended for sale in China is Chery Fulwin 2.
